Fun With Cousins

Continuing on with our vacation pictures: Weds., August 15 we went to the NW WA Fair with Doug and Annette's family. Julia and Austin in the flower building. My sister was working in that area, and we talked to her for awhile.


A lady in the horse barn was very nice and opened her horse's stall for the kids to pet. She told us all about that kind of horse. That afternoon we all got ice cream treats. It was a hot, hot day!

All the cousins on a ride. All the kids had all-day ride passes, and we sure got our money's worth. They went on a ton of rides! We stayed until the very end, too, when the carnival closed! They all loved it!


Thurs., August 16: Doug and Annette's family came over to my mom's house to visit us there. We took these pictures of the kids together. It started out pretty well. However. Things DID change--with the oldest kid being the most uncooperative! Brian had to put her in her room, where she stayed for quite awhile! She was worn out from the big day before at the fair, I think.




After the photo shoot: both little girls wanted to ride this trike. They really did well not fighting over it. Although I think we need to work on patience, a little bit. ;) Lauren wasn't happy when Annika continued to go on riding the trike.


And finally it is Lauren's turn!
