We went home for lunch and naps. Julia helped me make Confetti Coleslaw (recipe from my mom) by making the dressing all by herself. She really enjoyed that! We got everything ready for our picnic at the beach. They all loved going down the slide, especially Lauren! She didn't want to come back to our table to play in the sand nearby. Julia has always enjoyed swings, from the time she was a baby. She learned to pump by herself in Kindergarten, and now will swing and swing and swing, for the longest time.
Brian BBQ'd hamburgers while his mom and I watched the kids playing on the playground and in the sand. We roasted marshmallows over the BBQ coals after supper. They were old and all stuck together, but somehow we managed to finish off the bag! :) We got to the beach kind of late, about 6:30, and left about 8:30 when it was getting dark. We took our sticky, sandy kids home where they all had a bath and went to bed!

Glad to hear Brian's mom got so spend some time with your family. You've got some awesome photos of the kids. I can't wait to see them scrapped. ;)
