Christmas Set-Up

We put up our Christmas trees the weekend after Thanksgiving. The kids were so wound up and excited to decorate! They all like seeing their own ornaments that have accumulated over the years.


Caroline was so excited. She'd put ornaments on the tree, take them off, then run to put them on the other tree. Second picture isn't Christmas related, but I thought it was funny. She was hiding in Austin's drive-in movie night car. See her little hand waving? :)

Austin wanted the Christmas train set up immediately after the tree went up. Brian did it Nov. 29 after the kids had gone to bed. They were thrilled to see it the next morning when they woke up and had to run it a few times before school. Even Julia sat and watched it for awhile, and she typically isn't too interested in playing with it. :)

Dec. 5: 2nd Sunday of Advent. We all like eating by candlelight. Kind of fun, since it's out of the ordinary.

Our stockings. I added colored berries to the mantle this year, but it's hard to see them in the picture.
