My friend,
Leslie, asked me if we'd help her son with a
Flat Stanley project. Julia learned about Flat Stanley in 2nd grade, and made a Flat Julia, so we were somewhat familiar with Stanley. Austin colored Stanley and we took a few pictures of Stanley in our area. Austin had to hold Stanley's hands at the Pacific Ocean, as Stanley almost blew away! The sign warns people to watch out for vehicles. Vehicles are often on that stretch of beach, the only beach in the state where they are allowed.
Got Stanley's picture by this sign...looked like a California thing. And at a stand selling fresh strawberries. There are lots of those in this area!
